Security & Privacy
Your records matter. Protecting them matters too.
Your records, your control
Zurzag helps you create organized records for places, property, vehicles, assets, and other things you care about. These records can include photos, notes, service history, identifiers, and other details.
You decide what stays private, what you share with specific people, and what you make public. Nothing is shared without your action.
Private by default
Records you create are private unless you choose to share or publish them. Private records are only visible to you.
When you share something, you control who receives access. When you publish something publicly, it becomes part of a visible history connected to that place, property, or asset. Think carefully before publishing — once it is public, others can see it.
Verified businesses
Businesses on Zurzag must be verified before they can post on Points of Contact. This reduces fake profiles, impersonation, and unauthorized commercial posting.
A verified badge means the account completed our verification process — it does not mean every claim that business makes is guaranteed to be accurate. Use your judgment and report anything that seems wrong.
How we protect your data
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Private records are separated from public content at the database level.
- Access to internal systems is restricted and monitored.
- Account verification reduces fake accounts and abuse.
- Rate limits and abuse detection protect against misuse.
No system is completely secure. Our commitment is to use reasonable safeguards and keep improving them.
We do not sell your personal data
Zurzag does not sell your personal information to data brokers or third parties for advertising purposes. We use trusted service providers to operate the platform — payments, infrastructure, verification, notifications — but your data is not a product we sell.
AI and record integrity
Zurzag may use AI tools to help organize information, classify property, or improve search. AI results are assistance — not guarantees. Review important details yourself before relying on them.
Zurzag may also use cryptographic integrity anchors to support record history and timestamps. This helps prove a record existed at a certain point in time, but does not replace proper documentation or legal proof of ownership.
Something look wrong?
